Hi. I just uploaded two new pages. The first is an introduction to Section 2. First Century Sources. The second is about the writings of the gospels of Mark and Matthew. This one is a slightly revised version of my earlier page on the genre of the canonical gospels. I’ve also added some initial considerations about the historical context of these two writings.
Next I will be examining the Gospel According to Mark more closely and derive some initial hypotheses about its date and location of composition, the historical Jesus, and first century Christianity.
